Docht is operated by an individual based in Norway. These Terms are the agreement between you and Docht for your use of the platform. Your use of Docht is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Docht is currently in Open Beta and is free to use. Paid creator subscriptions and creator payouts are not available yet. Sections 5 to 10 below describe how paid subscriptions will work once they open; until then, no payments are taken and no money moves through the platform.
1. Not financial advice
Docht is a platform for sharing trading ideas, charts, and commentary. Nothing posted on Docht — by other users or by Docht itself — is financial, investment, or tax advice. Trading involves risk; you are solely responsible for your own decisions.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 to use Docht. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. One account per person.
3. Acceptable use
Don't post spam, harassment, hate speech, or misleading claims about returns. Don't impersonate others or manipulate reactions/scores. Content that violates this can be removed and repeat violations can lead to account suspension — you can report or block any user or post from its menu.
Zero tolerance, no warning required: market manipulation (coordinating pump-and-dump activity, spreading deliberately false information about a market or instrument), scams and fraud (including "send me capital and I'll trade it for you" schemes), and fabricated or manipulated trading results presented as genuine. Accounts found doing any of this can be suspended immediately and permanently, and any related paid content or subscriptions can be removed without prior notice.
4. Your content
You own what you post. By posting on Docht you grant us a license to display, distribute, and store it as part of running the platform. You can edit or delete your own posts and comments at any time.
5. Creator subscriptions
Not available during Open Beta. This section takes effect when paid subscriptions open.
Some creators offer a paid monthly subscription. Subscribing gives you access to that creator's subscriber-only posts and commentary for as long as your subscription stays active — nothing more. It is not a managed account, a signal service, a guarantee of future posts of any particular frequency or quality, or a promise of trading results. See the Financial Disclaimer for more on this.
6. Docht's platform fee
Docht takes a 20% platform fee on every creator subscription payment. Technically, your payment is charged to Docht's Stripe account, which immediately transfers the remaining 80% to the creator's own connected Stripe account (a Stripe Connect "destination charge") — Docht does not manually move or custody funds, and cannot access a creator's connected account balance directly, but funds do briefly settle through Docht's Stripe balance as part of that automatic split. The 20% fee is stated up front — see the About and Help pages — and the creator sees the exact amounts for every payment in Settings → Monetization.
7. Payment provider
All payments, payouts, and card/billing data are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Docht never sees or stores your full card number. Your use of Stripe's payment services is also subject to the Stripe Services Agreement.
8. Cancellation & renewal
Creator subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscriptions — cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for. There's no partial-month proration for cancelling early.
If a renewal payment fails, your access to that creator's subscriber-only content pauses until the payment goes through. We'll notify you, and you can update your payment method from Settings → Subscriptions to restore access. This is different from cancelling: a failed payment pauses access at that point rather than letting it run to the end of a paid period.
9. Refunds & disputes
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started — you're paying for access to that period, and cancelling doesn't retroactively refund time already used. Exceptions are handled case-by-case (for example, a clear billing error, or a creator account removed for violating these Terms shortly after you paid) — contact admin@docht.app and we'll take a look.
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer (a chargeback) instead of contacting us first, Docht is charged for that dispute directly by Stripe and may recover the creator's share from their account. Filing a chargeback for a subscription you simply forgot to cancel, rather than requesting a refund from us, can result in your access being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
Right of withdrawal (angrerett): as a consumer you would normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase under Norwegian distance-selling law. Because a subscription gives you immediate access to digital content, checkout asks you to confirm that you want access to start right away and that you accept giving up the 14-day withdrawal right for that purchase — the law allows this for digital content delivered with your consent. Checkout does not proceed without that confirmation.
10. Creator responsibility
Creators are solely responsible for the paid content they publish — its accuracy, quality, and legality. Docht does not review subscriber-only content before it's posted and does not guarantee or endorse any creator's claims, strategy, or track record. If a creator's paid content violates these Terms, report it — see Community Guidelines.
11. Intellectual property
The Docht name, logo, brand, and the Docht website and software (excluding user-submitted content, which stays yours per Section 4) are owned by Docht and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or use them without our written permission.
12. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
13. Disclaimer
Docht is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for trading losses or decisions made based on content found on the platform.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms, and your use of Docht, are governed by Norwegian law. This does not remove the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live that cannot be set aside by agreement.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, the EEA, or another country covered by the Lugano Convention, nothing here limits your right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country where those rules give you that right, and Docht will bring any claim against you only in the courts of your country of residence where those rules require it. For any other dispute, and where those rules do not reserve it elsewhere, the agreed venue is Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett). Before filing anything, contact admin@docht.app — most issues are resolved faster that way.
